As a Cloud Engineer at Geins, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our cloud-based infrastructure, with a focus on Azure. You will work closely with our development team to deploy and manage code, automate processes, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure on Azure, including VMs, storage, networking, and security
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using PowerShell, Python or other scripting languages
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time
- Work with developers to ensure code is properly deployed and configured on production environments
- Implement best practices for security, backup, and disaster recovery
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and Cloud

Design and implement infrastructure that supports the development, testing, and deployment of our products and services. Use modern infrastructure technologies such as cloud computing, containers, and automation tools to build infrastructure that is scalable, reliable, and efficient.
Automate infrastructure processes:
Automate infrastructure processes such as deployment, monitoring, and scaling to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency. Use automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet to automate infrastructure processes, and develop custom scripts and tools as needed.
Ensure continuous integration and delivery:
Ensure continuous integration and delivery of our products and services, enabling fast and frequent releases. Use continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, and CircleCI to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Implement and maintain monitoring systems:
Implement and maintain monitoring systems to ensure that our infrastructure and services are performing as expected. Use monitoring tools such as Nagios, New Relic, and Datadog to monitor infrastructure and application performance, and develop custom scripts and tools as needed.
Ensure security and compliance:
Ensure that our infrastructure and services are secure and compliant with industry and regulatory standards. Use security and compliance tools and frameworks to ensure that our infrastructure and services meet security and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with development and operations teams:
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure that infrastructure meets their needs and supports their goals. Work closely with the development team to understand their requirements for infrastructure, and with the operations team to ensure that infrastructure is reliable and efficient.
Stay up to date with Cloud trends:
Stay up to date with Cloud trends and best practices, and bring this knowledge to bear in the development and maintenance of our infrastructure. Use this knowledge to ensure that we are delivering infrastructure that is scalable, reliable, and efficient.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud, with a focus on Azure, AWS or Google.
- Experience deploying and managing infrastructure on Azure, including VMs, storage, networking, and security
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
